About Hemi's Perogies:

Franklin and Lorisa purchased Helmi’s Perogies in 1997 from Helmi who was ready to retire.  The business model was simple, a premium homemade perogy with traditional Mennonite flavors like cottage cheese or blueberry and traditional egg noodles. All real ingredients.  Period.

Fast forward to today and the business has grown from a handful of customers and 3 flavours of perogies to our current customer base of 265 outlets with 9 perogy flavours as well as a variety of new products.

What’s stayed the same, is that all our products are made from fresh, real, whole ingredients.  We support our local butchers and farmers by purchasing local, and those same outlets are where our products can be purchased.

Original customers were all based in Abbotsford where the production facilities are based, but you can now find our products throughout BC, including Vancouver Island and as far north as Dawson Creek.
